Baltic International Symposium on Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine (BIS_DHM)

Dear Colleagues,

We can finally meet on the second Baltic International Symposium on Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine (BIS_on_DHM) which will be held face-to-face between 9th and 11th June 2022 in Gdynia, Poland. First edition of the Symposium in 2018 received good review of specialists (see http://www.bisdhm.events/data/files/dhm_vol48no3-infoonbisondhm.pdf), so we decided to keep organising this event every second year. COVID-19 disrupted our plans for a while, but now we are back on track.

This year we have excellent lecturers which will present advances in Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine taking into account the most current topics, including COVID-19, transcriptomics, oxygen toxicity, fatal accidents investigations and fire in hyperbaric chambers – see the program on our website. The workshop on Complications in the HBOT will include also fire-fighting drills inside the hyperbaric chamber, either at normobaric conditions or – if you dare – at high pressure. You will get really wet!

We are aware that there is a short time to make arrangements, but please look at the program and the list of presenters and remember that Gdynia – located just at the Baltic sea-side – this time of the year is really nice.
